Splunk AI & Cyber Analytics Architect
ML-driven SIEM detection engineering and SOC automation for government and commercial programs.
I architect autonomous, agentic AI for cybersecurity, threat detection, and open-source intelligence (OSINT), full stack, from the pipelines to the models to the interface people actually use.
I started in professional baseball - drafted by the Houston Astros out of high school. That discipline - preparation, pattern recognition, performance under pressure - carried into everything that followed.
After baseball I moved into cybersecurity and engineering. Identity and access management (IAM) on the SailPoint team at Centene. Led cyber investigations at Citibank - threat intelligence, open-source intelligence (OSINT), and fraud investigations. Ran cyberfusion programs at Booz Allen Hamilton for clients including Yahoo, DHS, and Toyota.
That path led to cloud, data, and AI/ML architecture. As an AI/ML Solutions Architect Specialist at AWS I worked across Generative AI, AI search, and analytics - batch and streaming data with Apache Spark, Amazon EMR, Apache Kafka (Amazon MSK), Amazon Kinesis, and Amazon Managed Service for Apache Flink. I was a subject matter expert (SME) for Amazon OpenSearch Service and Splunk, and deployed models with Amazon SageMaker, Hugging Face, and Amazon Bedrock - from traditional ML to large language models (LLMs) and retrieval-augmented architectures.
Today I build autonomous, agentic AI for threat detection, OSINT, and cyber threat intelligence. Search-first analytics on Amazon OpenSearch with neural, semantic, and hybrid search and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG). AI-assisted SOC modernization, detection engineering, and Splunk to OpenSearch migrations.
If that maps to what you are building, see what I build.
ML-driven SIEM detection engineering and SOC automation for government and commercial programs.
Insider threat, fraud, and OSINT investigations on one pipeline, with generative AI playbooks.
Splunk to OpenSearch migrations, Piped Processing Language (PPL) standardization, and partner enablement.
Hands-on Workshops, Immersion Days, and AWS re:Invent technical sessions in live cloud environments.
Four partner sessions: fraud detection, generative AI search, and cloud observability.
